A Bachelor of Industrial Fine Art from Makerere University is important to succeed as a fashion designer. The designers produce samples with the actual materials that will be used in manufacturing. Samples that get good responses from editors or trade and fashion shows are then manufactured and sold to consumers. Third term consists of ten weeks, eight weeks of teaching and continuous assessment and two (2) weeks of practical and written examinations.
